My Southern Pride "T"

Check out my new Southern Pride "T." It's so cute! It makes me want to whip up a batch of sweet tea. I have funny story. My hubby and I went over to New Orleans to see his parents. On the way back we stopped at a little Cajun place outside of Lafayette. When the waitress came to take our order, we both ordered tea. She asked, "sweetened or unsweetened?" I slowly lowered my menu and leaned in and whispered, "You profiling?" Well, the table next to us heard me and everyone started laughing. She knew exactly what I meant and brought two glasses of sweet tea. Now when we stop on our travels to New Orleans she greets me with a smile and brings Mrs. Gigi her tea.

I love your new t-shirt; it's a classic! Great story too! What restaurant were you at outside of Lafayette? I arrived in Lafayette tonight and I'm eating a turkey wrap... not very Cajun of me. LOL.

Jill, if you're looking for Cajun in Lafayette try Prejeans off of Evangeline (they have live Cajun bands). We like Mulate's down in New Orleans. They have good Cajun too. If you're heading back on the 10 and going through Beaumont on the right side of the highway (opposite side from Cracker Barrel) is a place called, Floyd's Cajun restaurant. He's from Lafayette and owns another one in Webster. He's got the best fried crawfish/shrimp!!!
