HAPPY NEW YEAR

I came across this little clip and had to use it in my New Year's post. I would have loved to have been a guest at one of those fabulous New Year's Eve parties back then. I would have worn a glamorous dress and danced my feet off. This year we do not have plans. I believe we might watch movies and order some take out. We are preparing to move soon so we are mostly concentrating on getting as much rest during this holiday season as we can. As soon as we bring in the New Year we know that things are about to get very busy. 2011 has a lot of life changing events but we are eager to start the next chapter.

As I reflect on this past year I have written down the top 10 highlights of 2010.

1.) My husband became a free agent and began consulting on his own. His reputation paid off and he was awarded numerous contracts.

2.) We became completely debt free.

3.) We spent a week in New Orleans for a conference. I got to relax, shop, and eat around our old stomping grounds. It was a fabulous trip.

4.) My husband enrolled into the Princeton Review and took the LSAT.

5.) We successfully got a hospital through a state inspection within 30 days setting a new record not only in the Houston area but for the state of Texas.

6.) We visited old friends in Bayou Country.

7.) My husband gave a presentation he wrote regarding the new health bill and was invited to speak at the capital in Austin during the 2011 session.

8.) We became more involved in Medical Missions.

9.) My husband got accepted into Law School.

10.) We spent our last Christmas in the Lone Star.

Can't wait to see what 2011 will bring us. Wishing y'all a very blessed and healthy New Year.

You and your husband have shared a year of fabulous accomplishments! Best wishes for the new year ahead.

We are keeping it quiet around here as well. My husband has been away A LOT this year and I'm thrilled to have him home and to myself. He will be off again once the new year hits.

Sounds like you'll be a little closer to our area after your move.
