American History, Learn it!

I apologize but my schedule does not allot me the time to write a Historical Home Wednesday post. I truly enjoy studying and enriching my knowledge in our American heritage. I know the vast majority do not share my enthusiasm for learning of our strong roots in which our country was founded on. I'm disappointed in the direction of our current circumstances but I do have faith that there are still those who believe in the vision in which our American ancestors (my family) shed their blood for, DEMOCRACY. History has a habit of repeating itself and do to our own lack of understanding the sacrifices of many who gave us this freedom; we shall begin the cycle once again. However, I fear that ignorance, arrogance, and complacency will lead us into further bondage. I encourage all to pick up an American history book and educate yourselves of where and how we have come to this exact place in history.
